Susan Orpen completed a BA degree at Unisa and under the guidance of lecturer and watercolourist Marion Arnold, she became very interested in the watercolour work of Paul Klee and the early abstract watercolours of Kandinsky.

She joined the Watercolour Society of South Africa and paints in a number of genres. Although known for her wildlife work, she enjoys painting landscapes as well as portraiture.
Susan Orpen’s watercolours are in private collections around the world and she also offers studio classes throughut the year offering -

Their resident Artist, Dane Willers, specializes in African Wildlife, Landscapes and Rural portrayals and they gallery is renowned for the quality works that are supplied to buyers and collectors across the Globe.
Dane Willers first Oil Painting was acquired by a law firm in the Cape in 1968 and hundreds more are found all over the world.
The Artist employs the indirect Painting method – work done in the Indirect Method can take months to complete; and in an age of mass production; this is rare. Because of this, Dane Willers is regularly commissioned to do special or particular pieces for buyers and collectors. The works are supplied with Certificates of Authenticity/Valuation.
He also gives free art lessons to talented young people from Grade 8 to 12 who want to paint but don’t have the means to afford the lessons or the art materials.
